Your .m4r file is on your device. Here's how to get it onto your iPhone.

⌘ Recommended — AirDrop (Mac + iPhone)
  1. 01Open Finder and locate the downloaded .m4r file.
  2. 02AirDrop it to your iPhone.
  3. 03When your iPhone receives it, tap "Use as Ringtone".
  4. 04Done — find it in Settings → Sounds → Ringtone.
↗ Alternative — Finder Sync
  1. 01Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB.
  2. 02Open Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows).
  3. 03Click your device → Tones tab.
  4. 04Drag the .m4r file into the Tones list, then click Sync.
  5. 05Find it in Settings → Sounds → Ringtone.

Note: Emailing the file or opening via iCloud Drive won't work — iOS blocks .m4r files from being set as ringtones through those paths.
